Why can I not log in to the online store?

There are several reasons why you can not log in:

  1. The most important thing is that you log in within the period specified at your Tinteling. You can no longer place an order before or outside this period.
  2. You typed a space before or after the password. If you do, you will receive the message that you can not log in.

Order

I can no longer find the gift I want to order in the webshop.

Due to unexpected popularity, the gift is sold out. We do our very best to get the gift in stock as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee anything. In the meantime, keep a close eye on the webshop, but do not lose sight of the closing date of the webshop.

Can I donate to a non-profit organization?

Under the category ''charities'' are all charities you can donate to. You determine the amount of the donation to a charity yourself. We have already entered the minimum amount for you. You can adjust this amount using the + and - buttons. At the end of the order period, we report to the employer the amount of all donations and this amount is transferred to the relevant charity.

How do I place an order?

  • Step 1. Check out the total assortment. To simplify the assortment is divided into categories. Select a category and all related products will appear accordingly. There is also the possibility to search for a gift directly by typing in the name of the gift or brand in the search box.
  • Step 2. When you have found a gift you like, go to the product page by clicking on the gift of your choice. By clicking the order button your gift will now be placed in your shopping cart. In case you do not want to place the order immediately, your selection will be saved in the shopping cart.
  • Step 3. Input screen for personal data. The following details are required: gender, initials, surname, email address and phone number
  • Step 4. Input screen for the delivery address. Here you can fill in the address where you wish to receive your gift. You even have the option to fill in a different delivery address such as your work address or any other address that is convenient for you.
  • Step 5. Delivery information. Here you can fill in whether you would like your order to be delivered to the address provided or at one of the 1500 DHL parcel shops. In case you opt for delivery at a parcel shop, you have to select the preferred shop here as well.
  • Step 6. Check out process. As soon as your order is placed, a confirmation screen will pop up with your detailed order information. After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. The order can be cancelled and replaced within one hour after placement.

Did you receive my order correctly?

If you wish to verify if your order has been placed successfully, click on ‘Your order’. Here you can find the actual status of your order. You will also receive an order confirmation after placement.

Is it possible to deliver internationally?

It is possible to deliver your order abroad. Standard shipping countries are The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. However do keep in mind that delivery in Belgium and Germany takes longer. You can select the country of your choice when providing your delivery address. If the country of your choice is not mentioned, it is not possible to have the gift delivered there. In that case we advise you to provide an address from someone you know in The Netherlands.

Do I receive a packing list?

​You will receive an email containing a tracking code and itemized packing list. This packing list also serves as a certificate of guarantee and must be presented when you wish to exchange your gift.

I would like to have more information regarding a gift

When you wish to view a product’s details, click on the button ‘more info’. A pop-up window will appear with a larger picture and detailed description with product details. When you have any questions regarding a product after reading the product details, please leave a message under the ‘contact ’ heading. 

Where can I find my order status?

The status of your order can be viewed 24 hours a day. Go to www.mijntinteling.nl and click on the button ‘Your order’.

When can I expect my digital order?

A number of our gifts are sent digitally. This is the case with experience vouchers and most of the gift cards. The delivery method is located next to the gift and in your order confirmation. Digital gifts are generally sent within 24 to 48 hours.

When do I receive the tracking code for my package?

As soon as your package leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with the packing list and track and trace code. With this code you can locate your package on the DHL Parcel site. In case you have not received an email, you can always find the track and trace code of your package on the ‘Your order’ page.

What does the status ‘processed and shipped’ mean?

Your order will receive the status 'processed and shipped' as soon as your package leaves our warehouse. At the same time you will receive an email with the track and trace code of your package. Within a few days you will receive the gift of your choice.  

A physical gift card or experience voucher, however, fits through the mailbox. Therefore you will not receive a track and trace code. Your gift will be delivered to you by post within a few days after your order has received the status ‘processed and shipped’.

What is the delivery schedule for packages sent by DHL?

Packages in The Netherlands are generally shipped by DHL from Monday to Saturday. On those days your package can arrive in four different time frames. By using your postal code, you can check the delivery time up to 10 days in advance. Simply go to: https://www.dhlparcel.nl/nl/bezorgtijden

What does postponed delivery mean?

When placing your order you can have your gift delivered on any day that suits you best. You can determine the desired delivery date yourself.

What does delivery to a parcel shop mean?

You can choose to have your gift delivered to one of the 1500 parcel shops. There is always a parcel shop near you. When placing your order and providing your postal code, the nearest parcel shop will appear on your screen. As soon as the package arrives at the parcel shop you will be notified by text message or email. When the package is not picked up immediately, two reminders will be send. The package will remain at the parcel shop for 7 days and will be sent back to our warehouse after this period.  

The points balance and the VAT

The value of the gifts is shown in a point balance. This value always includes the VAT due. 

What are the shipping charges?

If you have chosen a gift that we will send to you by mail, you do not have to pay shipping costs. These are always included.
Do you receive an email or postal notification that you should pay to receive your gift? Do not pay, as this is a deception. You do not have to pay anything to receive your gift from Tintelingen.


If you want to return a gift for whatever reason, you will receive return instructions from us after you have registered your return in the webshop. When you use this return instruction, no shipping costs will be charged. If you choose to send the return in a different way, it is possible that costs will be charged. These will not be reimbursed by Tintelingen.

How do the categories work?

The gifts we offer in the web shop are divided into categories for your convenience. This makes it easy to locate your favourite gifts in the online store. Click on the category of your choice at the top of the page and all products related will appear.

How do I order a book?

The books are all worth a certain amount of points which are listed on the top of the page. This way you can make a selection of books until you run out of book points. You must spend all points in the category of books. Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine the points with a gift from another category.

How do I check the amount of points I can spend?

After logging in, the shopping cart in the right upper corner of the online shop shows the number of points you have at your disposal. Each gift in the shop displays its value in points. You can therefore select the number of gifts yourself with a maximum of four.

What is the maximum number of gifts I can order?

The points linked to your log in code can be spent on a maximum of four gifts. Any points left can be donated to a non-profit organization. All points must be spend when placing your order.

I do not have enough points, what now?

It is possible to pay an extra charge for a more expensive gift in addition to the number of points linked to the log in code. The remaining balance as well as the additional charge is displayed in your shopping cart. An additional payment can easily be made in our web shop by using IDeal or PayPal. Naturally the additional charge will be reimbursed when returning a gift.

How can I order a gift card without an email address?

Unfortunately, without an e-mail address it is not possible to order a gift card. 

How do I activate my digital gift card?

For security purposes, gift cards are sent without value and need to be activated when received. This activation procedure is outlined in the same e-mail you received with your gift card. 

Activate your card in two easy steps:

1. Go to https://activeren.tintelingengiftcards.nl/ and enter your card number which is located below the bar code;
2. An activation link will then be sent by e-mail. Click on the link and your gift card is activated.

How can I check my gift card balance?

You can always check your gift card balance online. Go to https://www.tintelingen.nl/saldocadeaukaart/

How come there is no balance on my card?

There may be several reasons why your gift card has no balance.

1. Most importantly, once received you have to activate your card. Activate your card in two easy steps:

  • Go to www.tintelingengiftcards.nl/activeren http://www.tintelingengiftcards.nl/activeren and enter your card number. which is located below the barcode.
  • You will receive an activation link by email. Click on the link and your gift card is activated.

2. You have already spent the amount on your gift card.

What is the valid of my gift card?

Gift cards are valid for at least one year from the moment of activation. consult the balance checker for the current term of your gift card via link https://www.tintcadeauelingen.nl/saldokaart/.

How can I order a gift card without an email address?

Unfortunately, without an e-mail address it is not possible to order a gift card. 

What do I receive when I choose a gift card?

Depending on your choice you will receive the gift card by email or by post. The method of delivery is stated next to the gift card in the online store.

Is it possible to return my gift card?

For security reasons, gift cards can be exchanged within 30 minutes of placing the order. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible after these 30 minutes.

How long does it take before I receive the gift card?

You will receive digital gift cards at the specified e-mail address within 48 hours. You will receive physical gift cards by post within 7 working days.

I have lost my gift card, what now?

That is very unfortunate. In this case, please leave a message under the ‘Customer Support’ heading. You can also contact Tintelingen Customer Services by calling 088- 84 68 354.

How do I determine the balance on my gift card?

You can determine the amount on the gift card yourself. We have already filled in the minimum amount which can be raised by using the + and – button.

Where do I find the gift cards?

​The assortment contains several gift cards. You can find these in the various categories. Another option is to search via the search bar at the top of the webshop. 

How long is my gift card valid for?

Once activated your Gift card will be valid for a maximum of one year. For the actual period of validity please check your online balance checker for the status and expiry date. Go to www.tintelingen.nl/saldocadeaukaart

How can I return/exchange my order?

We are sorry to hear the gift of your choice is not entirely to your satisfaction and you wish to exchange it. In this case, you can return the gift to our logistics centre free of charge by PostNL. As soon as we have received your return shipment, your login credentials will be reactivated with a notification by mail.

3. Open your order (click on the white paper with magnifying glass)
4. Then click on the green return button
5. Fill out the reason for your return and download the return form.

I have received the wrong gift, what now?

We are sorry to hear that despite the utmost care of our logistic centre you have received a wrong gift. In this case, you can return the gift free of charge by PostNL. We will send you the correct item as soon as the return shipment has reached our logistic centre.

  4. Click on the green return arrow

How can I cancel/adjust my order?
